A brief biography

I'm currently reporting for The Washington Post, traveling around the world looking at how America affects ordinary lives. I graduated from Harvard College in 2006, where I majored in Social Studies (theory) and Visual & Environmental Studies (documentary video). My senior thesis was on a recent propaganda campaign in Zimbabwe, and included text and video. In college I worked on Aina Arts and was an associate managing editor of the Oxford International Review. After graduating I worked with David Ignatius, Hal Straus and Fareed Zakaria to start up PostGlobal, an international affairs forum, producing and editing it. From there I moved into my current project traveling, shooting video and reporting.
